Kuscheliger Pulli | Cosy Jumper

Endlich habe ich wieder genäht. Mir war schon klar, dass ich das Nähen wirklich vermisst habe, aber für mich hat der Tag immer noch nicht genügend Stunden. Letzte Woche hat es dann endlich geklappt. Ich habe mir das Schnittmuster vorgenommen, es in einer größeren Größe abgepaust (der Pulli sitzt für meinen Geschmack recht eng) und dabei eine kleine Änderung vorgenommen. Am ersten Abend habe ich zugeschnitten und das Hauptteil genäht und am nächsten Abend habe ich die Bündchen angenäht. Wie schön, dass der Stoff zwei Seiten hat. Und an dieser Stelle vergesse ich mal ganz großzügig, dass der Mann im Hause den Pulli zum Schlafanzug erklärt hat. Ich habe ihn am nächsten Tag tapfer getragen.

Happy, because I finally took some time for sewing. I knew that I was missing sewing but somehow the day never has enough hours. Last week I found the time. I took the sewing pattern, copied it in a larger size (the jumper fits too tight for my liking) and made a little adaption. On the first evening I cut everything out and made the body of the jumper and on the next evening I sewed on the cuffs. I am so happy that the fabric has two sides. And now I forget that hubby said it was a nice pj top. I wore it all day.

Da hatte ich zu meinem letzten Post so nette Kommentare bekommen und dann verschwinde ich einfach. Profis würden das wohl eine Blogpause nennen, ich denke, dass ich einfach viel zu tun hatte bzw. ich anderen Dingen Priorität gegeben habe. Zum neuen Jahr dachte ich mir, wäre ein Einstieg toll, doch dann fühlte ich mich letzten Samstag echt schlecht, was sich durch die ganze erste Arbeitswoche zog - ich sag nur Husten. Machen wir also einen Schnelldurchlauf durch das, was passiert ist: ich habe einige Fortbildungen zu eTwinning gegeben, war im Urlaub, war eine Woche in Bukarest, habe mich um 4 Lehrerinnen aus Schweden bei uns zur Hospitation gekümmert, war auf einer Tagung, ich war in Erfurt auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt, ich habe drei Tage hintereinander Raclette gegessen, ich habe Weihnachten und Silvester gefeiert.

Meinen Hobbys bin ich auch nur etwas eingeschränkt nachgegangen, doch ich möchte heute ein schönes Paar Socken zeigen, das ich ohne ein besonderes Muster gestrickt habe, weil die Wolle alleine schon ein Hingucker ist.

 
I received really lovely comments under my last post and then I just disappeared. I believe pros call this a break from blogging, I think I just had so much to do and gave other things priority. At the begining of the new year I thought it would be a great thing to starting writing again but I felt so awful last Sunday that it just did not happen - I was coughing all through this week. So let's do a fast forward through my life: I did some training sessions about eTwinning, I went on holiday, I went to Bucharest for a week, I looked after four Swedish teachers who did a job shadowing at our school, I went to a conference, I went to the Christmas market in Erfurt, I ate raclette meals for three days in a row, I celebrated Christmas and the New Year.

I did not do as much hobbywise as I would have liked to but today I am showing you a really nice pair of socks that I knitted with a particular pattern because the yarn itself is an eyecatcher.
