Diese Woche hatte sehr viel zu bieten, allem voran Arbeit - besonders am Mittwoch und Donnerstag. Aber es trudelte auch eine Bestellung ein und ich überlege, ob ich sie behalten soll. Am Samstag nahm ich mir frei und fuhr ein bisschen bummeln und Dinge besorgen. Da es weiter nichts zum Thema Handarbeiten gibt, möchte ich noch einen Beitrag zu Pflanzen schreiben. Mir ist es gelungen einen Monstera-Ableger zum Wachsen zu bringen und diese Woche hat mit die Pflanze mit einem neuen Blatt beglückt. Wenn ihr einen Ableger ziehen wollt, solltet ihr ein Stück von der Mutterpflanze mit abschneiden und dann für ein paar Wochen in Wasser stellen. Wenn die Wurzeln sich verzweigen, kann die neue Monstera eingepflanzt werden. Dann dauert es ein bisschen bis zum ersten Blatt. Das war ein echtes Highlight für mich.
This week had a lot to offer, mostly work - especially on Wednesday and Thursday. But I received an order and am now debating whether to keep it. On Saturday I took a day off and went browsing the shops and buying a few things. As I still have nothing to show in the area of crafts I decided to write one more post about plants. I managed to propagate a monstera and make it grow. This week it made me happy with a new leaf. If you would like to propagate a monstera make sure your cutting contains part of the mother plant. Then put it into water for a few weeks. If the roots are branching out you can put the monstera in her own pot. It takes some time to grow a new leaf but it definitely made my day.
