Woche 38.19 | Week 38.19

Da ich heute schon sehr früh wach bin, dachte ich mir, es ist Zeit für einen Blogpost, bevor der in dem Wochenende untergeht. Hier ist nämlich gerade viel los, da wir nächste Woche in der Schule Gäste aus drei Ländern erwarten und dafür natürlich gut vorbereitet sein wollen. Wir machen ja nicht alle Tage unterricht mit 40 Personen aus vier Ländern und mindestens sechs Zuschauern (die anderen Lehrkräfte). Da diese Woche zwei Kinder auf Klassenfahrt waren, konnte ich jeden spazieren gehen, was bei mir die Kräfte immer wiederherstellt. Am Donnerstag und Freitag war ich allerdings so stark beschäftigt, dass ich meine 8.000 Schritte bereits um 13:30 bzw. 12:00 Uhr erreicht hatte. Am Freitag Morgen habe ich das erste Mal in diesem Herbst (oder ist es noch Spätsommer?) gekratzt - um 07:30 Uhr. Highlight der Woche war meine neue Wolle - neben meinem Abo wurden auch 4 Stränge für zwei besondere Projekte geliefert.

As I am awake at early hours I thought it is time for a blogpost before I don't find time to do it over the weekend. There is quite a lot to do here at the moment as we are expecting guests from three countries at school next week and of course we want to be well prepared for that. It is not that we hold lessons for 40 people from four different countries with at least 6 viewers (the other teachers) every day. This week two of my children were away on class trips so I was able to go for walks every day. On Thursday and Friday I was so busy that I had completed my 8,000 steps at 1.30 pm and noon. On Friday morning I had to deice the car for the first time this autumn (or is it still Indian summer?) - at 7.30 am. Best thing this week was my new yarn - I had my yarn suscription delivered and 4 skeins for two special projects.
