Kleine Flucht / A little escape

Gestern war schon so tolles Wetter, aber bevor ich rausgehen konnte oder überhaupt nur meine Pläne für den Nachmittag an der frischen Luft in der Sonne konkretisieren konnte, zeigte meine Tochter mir fiese, rote Punkte auf ihrer Haut, so dass ich den Nachmittag mit ihr zur Kinderärztin gefahren bin. Als es heute Morgen schon wieder so toll aussah, habe ich einfach die Chance genutzt und bin direkt vor der Arbeit in ein kleines Waldstück gegangen und habe mich an Schnee und Sonne gefreut. In dem Waldstück ist auch ein kleiner Aussichtsturm, auf den ich geklettert bin, allerdings waren die Stufen vereist, sodass es ganz schön gefährlich war. Die Idee hat sich als richtig gut erwiesen, da ich heute dann doch deutlich länger auf der Arbeit war als geplant.

We had such great weather yesterday (cold and glorious sunshine) but before I was able to go outside or even make some concrete plans about time spent outside in the sun my daughter showed me some serious red spots on her skin so that I took her to the doctor's yesterday afternoon. When I saw the same kind of weather this morning I sized the opportunity and stopped in a parking place on the edge of a forest on my way to work. I walked a little round and enjoyed the snow and the sun. There is a tower to climb which I did but it was pretty dangerous as the steps were icy. The idea to go there in the morning was brilliant as I had to stay at work longer than expected.
