Hier hängt er vor dem Waschen an der Tür. Here it is hanging on the door before washing. |
I have wanted to knit this pattern for ages. But you know what life is like: Somehow I never got round to it. I cast on in May. Many knitters noted that the jumper tends to be rather big and I had planned to use my wonderful Quito-Lace (90% alpaca, 10% wool) for it. So I made a swatch and decided to knit size M. And I find it's perfect. I did not do the increases on the body but knitted it straight but not too long. And with the yarn being so warming I definetely wanted long sleeves - otherwise I would be cold. I am wearing my Buttercup for the first time today and am very happy with it: It is light and warm!
