Ich bin gerade im Mützenfieber, was auch daran liegt, dass ich Ela versprochen hatte, ihre neue Anleitung zu testen. Also habe ich die Anleitung und Wolle, die ich schon vor langer Zeit für ein Mützenprojekt angeschafft habe, eingepackt. Als ich die Anleitung dann genauer las, musste ich feststellen, dass mein Garn zu dünn war :-(( Ich schieb's mal auf den Weihnachtsstress. Die Mütze habe ich dann trotzdem gestrickt, einfach die Maschenzahl angepasst.
Mein jüngerer Sohn zeigt hier die Mütze, die ihm etwas zu groß ist. Diese hier bekommt mein Neffe, der noch dieses Jahr Geburtstag hat. Und nun werde ich die Mütze ein drittes Mal stricken - und zwar mit Garn, das von der Stärke her passt. Für einen Freund, dem ich das zum Geburtstag im November versprochen habe.

I have been busy knitting hats as I had promised Ela to test her new pattern. So I packed up the pattern and yarn that I had bought a long time ago for a hat to knit it over Christmas. When I wanted to start I realised that my yarn was too thin. :-(( Well, I decided that was because of all the stress before Christmas. I made the hat nevertheless - just adapted the number of stitches.
My younger son is showing the hat here but it's too big for him. This hat is for my nephew who will celebrate his birthday on one of the last days of the year. I will knit the hat a third time using the right yarn. It will be a birthday present for a friend which I promised in November.
