Noch ein Kleid / Another dress

Am Anfang des Jahres sagte meine Tochter, sie wolle in diesem Jahr nur Kleider tragen. Zum Glück hat sie das nicht umgesetzt, denn da wäre die Waschmaschine gut beschäftigt gewesen. Doch jetzt hatte ich Zeit noch ein Kleid zu nähen. Den Stoff hatten wir spontan mitgenommen, weil er uns so gut gefiel, als wir Stoff für das Probekleid gekauft haben. Es hat bei dem tollen Stoff großen Spaß gemacht und meine Tochter hat sich so gefreut.

At the beginning of this year my daughter said that she would only wear dresses this year. Luckily she did not put this into practice as the washing machine would have been very busy indeed. But now I found some time to sew another dress. We bought the fabric quite sponteously as we both liked it so much when we were out buying fabric for the test dress. It was great joy to sew this dress using such a lovely fabric and my daughter is so happy.
