Wie jedes Jahr nehme ich mir zum Schulanfang so viel vor, doch dann ist es nicht ganz einfach, alles immer umzusetzen. Aber gut, das ist ja normal. Ich habe mir Inliner gekauft und bin mit meiner Tochter und einer Freundin heute 12km gefahren. Das war schon mal ziemlich schön. Mein Sohn hat heute eine Führprüfung im Reiten gemacht und den 2. Platz gewonnen - was mich sehr gefreut hat. (Wer meinen Sohn kennt, weiß, warum.) Nun bin ich gespannt, wie wir alle unsere erste komplette Schulwoche meistern werden.
This week was the first week at school after the summer holidays. Despite Wednesday being the first official day at school I also spent Monday and Tuesday there. Seeing colleagues again is always nice and meeting the pupils that I know from last year is really nice. I have marked my first written assessment and as it was an official resit I also held an oral examination. Unfortunately it was not successful (the photo shows the lowest mark in the German school system) but I hope that I helped the pupil by making sure he was put in a good class.
Every year I have quite a few new year resolutions but it is not so easy to put it all into practice. But well, that's normal. I have bought some inline skates and skated 12 kms with my daughter and a friend today. I really enjoyed it. My son had a riding examination today and won 2nd prize - I am so happy for him (If you know my son, you know why.) Now I am curious how we will survive the first complete week of school.
