Woche 18/19 | Week 18/19

Sagt mal, war das die kurze Woche direkt nach den Osterferien? Die, von der ich dachte, sie sei ganz entspannt, weil ich noch ganz entspannt bin? Von wegen - ich bin dieses Wochenende fertig wie selten. Am Montag hatten wir ein krankes Kind, das es am Nachmittag zu betüteln galt. Am Dienstag war es schon besser und wir konnten einen kleinen Ausflug machen, um ein Geschenk zu besorgen. Am Mittwoch war ich mit den liebsten Kolleg(inn)en zum Wandern verabredet - das tat so gut. Am Donnerstag habe ich mit meinem Kurs die Juniorwahl zur Europawahl durchgeführt. Das war super spannend, doch nun müssen wir mit dem Auszählen bis zum Ende der offiziellen Wahl warten. Am Freitag war ich ich einfach nur kaputt und habe nachmittags nicht mehr als nötig gemacht. Und so war mein Wochenende ganz ruhig. Ich habe mir einen Pulli genäht, das war richtig schön. Heute haben wir uns dann ein Mittagessen auswärts gegönnt.

Tell me, was this the short week directly after the Easter holidays? (In Germany we get a day off on 1 May.) The week of which I thought it would be quite relaxed because I would be relaxed? But alas - I feel so tired and stressed out that I have not experienced for a long time. On Monday we had an ill child whom I had to look after in the afternoon. On Tuesday the child felt better and we were able to go on a little outing to buy a present. On Wednesday (the day off) I went hiking with the nicest colleagues - it was so good. On Thursday I did a mock European election with one of my courses. It was really exciting and now we have to wait until the end of the official elections to count the votes. On Friday I felt so stressed out and tired that I did not do more than necessary. And this is why my weekend was very relaxed. I sewed myself a jumper which I liked very much. Today we went out for a family meal.
