Nicht ganz einfach, aber fertig / Not that easy but finished

Dieses Tuch hat mich Nerven gekostet. Das Innenteil ist ganz einfach zu stricken. Aber dann: Ich habe die Beschreibung der ersten Reihe danach nicht verstanden - Hilfe von netten Strickerinnen und der Designerin bekommen - dann kam der erste Teil der Spitze, der ging und ist gelungen - doch dann habe ich  mit der schönen Spitze angefangen und nichts ging mehr - ich erspare mir die Details - also habe ich das Ding erstmal liegen gelassen. Ziel ist schließlich erst ein Geburtstag am Ende des Monats. Vorgestern fiel mir dann ein, dass ich es ja einfach mal mit der Kante vom Trillian probieren könnte. Und siehe da: Das konnte ich stricken! Merke: Zu viele Löcher kann ich nicht.

This scarf has gone on my nerves quite a lot. The middle was a very straightforward knit. But after that: I didn't understand the description of the next row - got some helpo from kind knitters and the designer - the first part of the lace border went okay and I think it looks good - but the lace border didn't work out at all - I will spare myself the details - so I put the scarf in a corner. It is meant as a present for the end of the month. Two days ago I had the idea to use the border of the Trillian scarf. And this is something I am able to knit. Remember: I am not able to knit too many holes.
