Yesterday I accompanied my form on an excursion. The pupils took ages to decide where to go and what to do. In the end we went to Colgne to see the different cultures of the world in this museum: Rautenstrauch-Joest-Museum. What do teenagers do after that? Shopping, of course. As I did not feel like walking amongst the streets full of pupils on excursions I went where no teenager goes: Maschenkunst, a well-known yarn store in Cologne. I looked at a lot of yarn and loved the buttons (great selection). I spent nearly two hours there and it was really entertaining and relaxing before taking the train back home. Time passed slowly, the mood was good - I found a place of peace and quiet during the hectic times before school breaks up for the summer holidays. Above you can see what I bought.
