Walking 2.1

Heute war es kühl und sonnig. Nach dem ersten Schultag hatte ich mir definitiv eine Auszeit im Wald verdient. Ach, tat das gut! Ich merke, dass meine Runde und ich uns schon ziemlich angefreundet haben. Die letzten beiden Male bin ich andere Strecken gegangen, aber heute musste es wieder die alte Route sein ;-)

Mein Baumfoto heute stammt von unserem Müllplatz und zeigt Leichen. In diesem Jahr habe ich unseren Baum gar nicht so richtig würdigen können. Ich habe nachgelesen (www.sdw.de), dass es in Deutschland 24,5 Mio Weihnachtsbäume gibt. Sie sind zwischen 8 und 12 Jahre alt, wenn sie geschlagen werden. NRW ist das größte Anbauland in Deutschland, allerdings kommen Bäume, die größer als 4m sind, aus Dänemark.

Today was a cool and sunny day. I definietely deserved a walk through the forrest after the first day back at school. Oh, how enjoyable! I realised I have developped a liking to my usual circuit. I took a different route on the last two occasions but today it had to be the usual round ;-)

Today's photo of trees was taken on our waste area and shows corpses. This year I did not really have the time to appreciate our Christmas tree. I read on the internet (www.sdw.de) that there are 24.5m Christmas trees in Germany. They are between 8 and 12 years old when they are cut down. Northrhine-Westphalia is the biggest producer of Christmas trees, but trees that are taller than 4m come from Denmark.
